Alyssa just continues to delight us! She is such a happy baby, for the most part. She does have her “fussy moments”, but that is typical for a toddler. There are a couple of cute/funny things she did this week, that we just had to share!

First of all, she loves our cat & dog, equally. She likes to pet each of them & is learning how to “be gentle” when she does it. She thankfully doesn’t try chasing them – yet – but, just loves it when they come near her, while she’s playing! She gets all excited & happy & babbles to them & smiles at them. Anyway, the other day, our cat, Butterscotch was walking by, while Jeremy was holding her. Aly pointed down at the kitty, gave a huge, open-mouthed, beaming grin & said, just as plain as day, “doggie!”

Another cute thing she enjoys is playing with her big sister. Katrina has recently been given a toy from someone else (not a family member) that we have been getting our fair share of hearing a *lot* lately. It’s a whoopee cushion & boy do both girls love it! Kat will blow it up, set it on the floor & plop down on it, as hard as she can & when she does, Alyssa just bursts out in the sweetest, most hilarious belly-laughs we’ve ever heard from her! Of course, this gets Katrina laughing & the mood is just contagious from there! Even though the toy itself can get annoying after a while, we can’t get enough of those wonderful, spontaneous, bubbly, giggly moments!
